Real Rides Celebrations!
Real Rides company directors- Kayton and Dani decided the team here at Real Rides deserved a reward for all our hard work, and what better way than on a boat in the beautiful Auckland Harbour.
So on Friday we all got on a Wine Cat cruise to celebrate what an amazing year we have had.
We left the hustle and bustle of the workshop at 10.30am cutting it fine for 11.00 am departure from Princess Warf.
When we arrived, the friendly staff at Wine Cat Cruises greeted us at the dock and took us on the grand tour.
After a few safety tips we were on our way!
The sun was out in full force for us so we set up camp on the top deck with drinks in hand to kick off the celebrations.
Once we were out in open waters, we were informed that our lunch was ready. We wandered down into the cozy kitchen and dining area to find an amazing buffet packed with everything from curry chicken to ham to sea food salad (which I single handed polished off- sorry guys!)
We made a toast to our directors and the rest of the team and said grace (We would like to thank the car gods for V8s and Cadillac grills etc..)
then filled our tummies, only to discover the huge desert spread we somehow had to make room for!
After a trip to the bar we headed back up top to get our tan on. The captain took us to a cove around the back of Rangitoto Island to relax in the sunshine before we headed back towards the harbour.
When we docked, we said our thank yous (because were a polite bunch) and good byes to the lovely Wine Cat staff and started on the walk back to the car, grins ear to ear.
All in all it was a very successful day and the entire team had a ball!
